Adrenal Fatigue Help: A Spicy Virgin Bloody Mary Adrenal Cocktail Recipe

Salt restriction is a terrible idea if you have adrenal exhaustion. Salt supports the adrenals, which are the "stress handlers" in the body. How do you know if you’ve got adrenal fatigue?

Symptoms of adrenal fatigue include:

  • Intense irritability when hungry.
  • Low blood pressure.
  • A tendency to collapse physically, mentally and emotionally when you’re under too much stress.

My virgin Bloody Mary is a quick fix that’s easy to make using tomato juice or V8 and a splash of olive juice. To make this non-alcoholic mocktail recipe you will need a lemon, sea salt, tomato juice, olive juice, prepared horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and celery. Cheers.

Recipe Notes

  • For an extra boost, line the rim of the glass with salt.
  • For an alcoholic drink, add some vodka.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Run a lemon wedge around the rim of a glass, then coat in sea salt.
  2. Add ice to glass, then set aside.
  3. Add tomato juice, olive juice, lemon juice, horseradish, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce to a blender. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour and garnish with celery, if desired, then enjoy.
