How to Declare Your Independence From Clutter & Disorder!

You’ve decided you want your freedom from a cluttered existence. Now what? Start with a declaration statement. Write out a statement declaring your freedom from clutter followed by a list of your top three goals. Write down a reasonable timeframe in which to accomplish them at the bottom and post your declaration where you can see it daily.

Break your first goal down into the smallest possible tasks and decisions and enter the next doable task or decision on your daily to-do list. (Remember, a project is not a to-do item. Always break down into manageable tasks.) In this way, you will take small but steady steps to meeting the goals. Keep entering new tasks on your list until you have met the first goal. Celebrate your achievement, then move to your second goal. You can do this!
