No-Bake Creamy Peanut Butter Pie Recipe (5 Ingredients)

Is there anything besides the turkey that's more important than the Thanksgiving desserts? We all love our pecan pie and pumpkin pie during the holidays, but why not make room at the dessert table for a new pie recipe? This six-ingredient, no-bake peanut butter pie recipe is absolutely dreamy.

To make this no-bake creamy peanut butter pie recipe you will need creamy peanut butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, whipped topping, a pre-made pie crust, hot fudge topping, which is optional, and pecans, which are also optional, but add a wonderful crunch.

Serve this peanut butter pie for dessert throughout the year and on those special holidays.

Recipe Notes

  • This dessert recipe works well with or without chocolate (I usually omit the chocolate topping). But you can do it either way and it's delicious.
  • Store any leftover pie in an airtight container in the fridge.

Here's how you make it:

  1. Beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer on medium until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in 3 cups whipped topping until thoroughly combined.
  3. If desired, spoon the chopped pecans into the bottom of the pie crust.
  4. Spoon mixture into pie crust. Using a spatula, smooth mixture to edges of pie.
  5. If using chocolate topping, microwave topping on high for 1 minute (or until melted and spreadable). Stir. Spread topping over pie, covering entire peanut butter layer. Refrigerate until set.
  6. Spread remaining whipped topping (1 1/2 cups) over hot fudge layer, if desired. Otherwise, serve with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with pecans, if desired.
