Dr. Elizabeth Mullans has been practicing dermatology for more than 20 years and treats patients for both medical conditions and cosmetic procedures. She believes that a board-certified dermatologist has the trained experience required to help patients preserve the health of their skin. She is concerned about the proliferation of med spas where technicians perform cosmetic procedures and may not have the proper training to address any resulting complications.
A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Dr. Mullans did her internship and residency in Texas at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas-Houston M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, respectively. Dr. Mullans has been voted one of Houston's top doctors for several years in H Texas Magazine.
